EasyJet to fly to Cyprus

EasyJet have taken over GB Airways for£103.5 million and may now start flying to
Cyprus.

GB Airways will still operate the cypriot route under its own name until March 19th
2008 when easyJet will take over. From then on, everything will be under easyJet’s name.
Cyprus is becoming increasingly popular with UK holidaymakers and property investors, so easyJet has decided to keep the route running.

Having easyJet fly to Cyprus is good for people as it means they can get cheaper flights to the country. Areas of Cyprus are hugely popular with young groups of holiday makers who will be very happy to be getting cheaper flights to the destination, as will home owners in Cyprus.
